Behind the Scenes of our SS19 Photo Shoot
For our Spring/Summer 2019 photo shoot we packed the team off to South Africa for our “Holidays Ahead” campaign.
We were spoilt for choice on locations to choose from, and we were lucky with the weather.
On the first day we had a good recce around potential locations and took a visit to the incredible prop shop, which is just an Aladdin’s cave of wonder! You could spend days there trying to pick the perfect watering can or animal skull, (should you want that kind of thing) to use as a prop for your photo shoot. We are pretty sure they have at least one of anything you could ever think of.
The views around this beautiful city were amazing, surrounded by stunning mountains.
On the first photo shoot day we treated the team to a safari trip. We didn’t see any wildebeests or buffalo, although we did make friends with a tortoise.
The next day we headed to the famous “Bo-Kaap” area, with its streets of colonial influenced coloured houses, where we made friends with a furrier creature in the form of the resident street dog.
We ended our day at an epic beach house as we watched an inspiring South African sunset.
The last day was all about the beach, as we always say, “Life’s better on a beach”. This is especially true when you are running on white, icing sugar sand in the sunshine and mucking about with a frisbee.
The cloud returned before the end of the day so we didn’t finish with a sunset, but with a spot of flip flop fishing instead.
