We were so excited to roll out our brand new store concept again, this time in Carmarthen, Wales. With a little help from our friend, artist Julia Gash, we hosted a grand launch day on 4th April in the store.
It can be difficult to feel motivated in January/February, the warm, fuzzy Christmas feeling is well and truly over, you want to feel motivated, but it is still cold and wintery, it is hard to know what to do with yourself. Here at Weird Fish we think it best to get stuck in and embrace the sometimes damp, chilly weather, after all they do say “There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad weather clothing”, so with that in mind grab your favourite cosy jumper, a waterproof jacket, pull on those wellies, and get out there to enjoy the fresh air.
We have some guest bloggers writing for us today, travel bloggers and Weird Fish lovers, Nico and Vicky aka The Travellings Mooseys.
Since meeting each other during Newcastle University’s fresher week, nearly seven years ago, Vicky and I have never spent a day apart! We have explored the world together and will continue to do so. In-between pretending we are Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider, we both enjoy a range of cool, sometimes nerdy hobbies and interests!
We hope you enjoy our article and if you would like to read more articles written by us, you can find us here: www.thetravellingmooseys.com
The Easter holidays are a great time to get out and about to explore the countryside with the family. The weather is getting warmer, the evenings are lighter, and you have an excuse for eating copious amounts of chocolate!
We have complied some ideas for things you can get up to in the towns we have stores, so you can have fun with the family and get some shopping from your favourite brand.
Pop along to Prior Park Landscape Gardens over the Easter weekend to have a go at their Easter Egg hunt. There are clues to solve and a chocolate treat at the end.
Our Bath Store is located in The Corridor in the center of Bath, we are currently offering some fantastic savings in this store.
Each month we are picking someone we feel deserves some recognition, be they an established celebrity, or more of a local celeb – We want to thank these everyday heroes for the things they have achieved.
Autumn is well and truly with us now, and we are gearing ourselves up for the brilliant autumn festival; bonfire night! With this in mind this month we have spoken to Karl Thorpe from a company called “The Round Table” who organise the Cheltenham Racecourse Fireworks display every year.
