Earlier this year we returned to our roots in Cornwall, UK to the world’s largest greenhouse, the Eden Project, it was built upon a former clay mine and houses more than 1 million plants! Talk about green fingers! Our team were very lucky to shoot at such an iconic location and were greeted by a range of wildlife from wild partridges to friendly robins!
We had the unique experience of using the site at Eden without the usual hustle and bustle of the millions of visitors that head to Cornwall each year! A special thanks to our wonderful hosts at the Eden Project for being so accommodating while insuring that social distancing and other safety measures were met!
Our new collection includes tropical t-shirts and fruity day dresses, therefore, had to be named after this floral paradise: The Garden of Eden.
Sustainability has become a trend in the fashion industry. It is a good trend that will age well unlike some of us who may have experience the dreaded 80’s perm…
For us at Weird Fish it is more than just a trend but a way of life. From our Head Office to our Factories, Production Lines and Packaging, we are making changes to try and improve our carbon footprint and become as sustainable and ethical as possible, taking care of our staff and the planet!
This is why we so pleased to be able to shoot at the Eden Project. The whole ethos of Eden is to educate and showcase the beauty of nature and why it is so important that we all take steps to living in a more sustainable way.
