Welcome to the 2nd part of our behind the scenes blog from the photo shoot we did back in chilly January.
Being based in Cheltenham in the Cotswolds we have some beautiful places right on our doorstep, so to make the most of this we headed up the road to Stonehouse in Stroud where we found this fantastic old textiles mill.
Stanley Mill was built in 1813 but since being out of use it is due to become made into flats. Due to being an English heritage site though, every measure will be taken to make sure the original features will be kept.
What an amazing place this will be to live, we would love to have a snoop around once the flats are built.
Being January it was still rather chilly in this drafty old building.
James making friends with the hundreds of pigeons which had decided to take roost on this floor.
Our Macaroni collection in all its glory, the colours looked amazing against the white washed walls.
Just having a quick check of the shots.
It really was an amazing location, it was great to find something so close to home. A big thank you to Marlings Ltd who provided access to the mill for us.
